Sensei Gerson was born in San Cristóbal, Venezuela, where he began to practice karate at the age of 4. After many years of practice, he received his first Dan in 2016 and second Dan in 2018. Since then, he has conducted and participated in seminars, activities, events, and competitions, highlighting both kata and kumite. He is honored to have been a part of both the Venezuelan national team (FVKD) and the Colombian national team (FCK). One of his goals is to be able to graduate as a sports psychologist and to be able to contribute in a more human way his experience as a competitor to those who are entering that stage. He is excited to be a part of the FMA Team and to be able to teach what the Path of empty hands (Karate-Do) means to him.
